Jeanne O’Rourke

Jeanne O’Rourke is a brand marketing, communications, and creative professional with extensive experience in setting vision and strategy in venerable mission-driven Massachusetts nonprofit organizations, including the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and The Trustees of Reservations. She earned her BA in English at Tufts University and has told the stories of countless interesting and impactful individuals and institutions through video, photo, and the written and designed word. Topics have run the gamut from culture and conservation, and included subjects both large (a 42-foot long, 100 million year-old Kronosaurus) and small (bees!)

Throughout her career, she’s been lucky to work with, and learn from, talented colleagues in every professional realm, including scientists, horticulturists, and artists. When she’s not working, she’s reading on the bay side of North Truro, enjoying her family patio, or planning her next travel adventure. Jeanne recently inherited her dad’s treasured binoculars and looks forward to using them (and her professional skills) at Manomet.

Susan Mazzarella

Susie joined Manomet in June of 2023 as Director of Grants and Reporting. With more than 20 years of experience in finance, Susie will oversee the day-to-day management and reporting of grant funds received by federal, state, local, private and public entities.

Susie started her career in the dynamic field of investment banking and was employed by Adams, Harkness & Hill as the SVP of Administration and Operations for over 10 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University, where she gained a solid foundation in business and finance. Recognizing her passion for education, she furthered her academic pursuits and obtained a Master’s in Education from Salem State University.

Since 2011, Susie served as a Federal Grants Coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She was responsible for supporting a portfolio of 45 public school districts and partnered with them to manage all fiscal, compliance and reporting mandates. Prior to her 12 years with the Department of Education, she was the CFO for Arlington Public Schools.

Originally from Michigan, Susie now resides in Salem, MA with her husband and very energetic Vizsla pup. She is excited to leverage her background, education, and wide-ranging interests to help advance the mission of Manomet. Outside of work she enjoys exploring new places through travel, experimenting with culinary creations, golfing, kayaking, biking, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Liana DiNunzio

Liana joined Manomet’s Resilient Habitats program as a Shorebird Biologist in 2023. She is working to expand migratory shorebird research and conservation in eastern Massachusetts. Her work focuses on improving our understanding of how shorebirds use the Massachusetts coast during migration in order to guide conservation efforts. An important component of her work is building a network of partners in the region, particularly on Cape Cod, to collaborate on these initiatives and improve stopover habitat for declining shorebird species.

Before joining the Manomet team, Liana was involved in many aspects of the environmental field including research, education, ecological restoration, wildlife rehabilitation, permitting, and habitat management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of Rhode Island, where she focused on wetland ecology. She is excited to apply her diverse skillset to protect shorebirds on the Massachusetts coast.

Liana is based out of Plymouth, Massachusetts where she can be found birdwatching, exploring the many local ponds and conservation areas, and spending time with her family.

Linda Harding

While training for the Boston Marathon in 2000, Linda Harding was first introduced to Manomet when she included a route through the Manomet property during a long run. That day, taking a break to gaze over the bluff at Cape Cod Bay, she wondered, “What is this magical place?” At that time, she never imagined that she would eventually be working here.

Living in Plymouth and working in Boston, Linda spent most of her career leading enrollment initiatives for graduate business schools. The highlight of her Admissions work was interviewing MBA candidates who are on the cusp of redesigning the future of business. Recruiting students introduced her to multiple countries, cities, and cultures. As an admission officer, she built skills in sales management, marketing communications, organizational change, creative problem-solving, team building, and project management.

In 2022, Linda retired from Higher Education and her “Boston commute” and settled in the nearby Priscilla Beach community. Not ready to stop working, her goal was to find a part-time position in an organization whose mission was vital to improving the world. A graduate of Lesley University, her current role is the Scheduler for Manomet’s President and the Coordinator of Board Relations. She is drawn to Manomet for the natural beauty of the property and the opportunity to contribute to conserving natural environments where birds and people can thrive together. She is honored to now to be one of Manomet’s staff working next to the view off the bluff.

One of Linda’s favorite pastimes is hacking through a 9-hole golf course. She also enjoys biking, hiking, sketching, gardening, and traveling. Her favorite destination includes any of the National Parks she has yet to visit. She is a member of Wildlands Trust, the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, and volunteers through the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance to count spawning horseshoe crabs on Plymouth Long Beach.
