Join us at the virtual U360 Commencement and Capstone Competition on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, when three of the top U360 business sustainability interns from this school year (selected as finalists during a preliminary judging round) will present their Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) for one small business. A panel of judges will ask the students questions in defense of their action plans and then select a winner. The winner will be named Manomet’s 2024 Next Generation Scholar and receive a scholarship award. You’ll also meet and celebrate our entire class of interns as we bring another U360 year to a close.

The U360 Capstone Competition is the culmination of Manomet’s U360 Business Sustainability internship, an experiential educational program for college students. Over the course of two semesters, each intern leads up to 25 small business owners through an assessment of their environmental, social, and governance practices. At the end of the U360 program, each student creates a comprehensive action plan for one business, learning how the business can make money, save money, and reduce risks through more sustainable operating practices. Three finalists then pitch their Sustainable Action Plans to a panel of judges.
