Manomet Conservation Sciences is excited to announce that our very own Dr. Abby Sterling will be a presenter taking the stage at TEDxUGA 2025!

Dr. Sterling serves as the Director of Manomet Conservation Science’s Georgia Bight Shorebird Conservation Initiative, dedicated to preserving shorebird populations along the Atlantic Flyway by increasing public attention to the Southeast. As one of the world’s most migratory groups of animals, shorebirds play a vital role in coastal protection and connecting us to a global ecosystem. At TEDxUGA 2025, Dr. Sterling will challenge our choices and how they impact the habitats that surround us.
