Join us on Sunday, August 4th, for a Shorebird Blitz Walk at Ellisville Harbor State Park. This walk is a part of the 2024 Massachusetts Shorebird Blitz —a week long event where participants will conduct shorebirds surveys throughout the state!
Liana DiNunzio, Manomet’s Shorebird Biologist, will lead the group and provide a unique opportunity to learn about shorebird identification while helping collect important data that will inform future shorebird conservation efforts! All skill levels are welcome. Whether you are a seasoned surveyor or completely new to shorebird identification, we hope you will join us!
Please note: The walk will consist of uneven terrain (road, beach, marsh, etc.) and will be 2 miles roundtrip.
Registration is required. Spaces are limited.
Participants will meet in the parking lot. Find directions to the parking lot here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wz6RGjKTxpMtNn4S7
