John (Jack) McCafferty
Jack assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Manomet at the end of April 2024. He brings over 40 years of experience in accounting and reporting, finance and analysis, and budgeting and forecasting to Manomet and oversees the finance team.
Jack graduated from Boston College, where he majored in Accounting and Finance. Upon graduation, he joined Price Waterhouse and later co-founded his own accounting firm to provide audit, tax, and consulting services to privately owned smaller businesses. After 26 years in public accounting, Jack joined Fidelity Investments as Vice President of Accounting and Finance. He became the Chief Financial Officer of Fidelity Investments’ Ireland operations during his time with Fidelity. While working in Ireland, Jack and his wife, Maureen, took advantage of the opportunity to travel throughout Europe. Upon his return home, Jack joined Resources Global Professionals as a Senior Finance Consultant. Through an assignment to assist Hillside School, a private middle school for boys, Jack became their CFO and helped lead the school to sustained profitability. Following the pandemic, Jack became the CFO of Urban College of Boston (“UCB”), assisting in the effort to merge the small college with an affiliate of Southern New Hampshire University.
A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Jack lives with his wife, Maureen, in Millis. He enjoys traveling, learning to play the guitar and the piano, and spending time with his two daughters and four grandchildren.
