Join us on Saturday, October 14th, and be a part of Manomet’s Bird-a-Thon—a 24-hour birding extravaganza that contributes to bird research and conservation!
Sam Wolfe, Manomet’s Texas Coast Shorebird Biologist, will have an awesome “big sit” style birding set-up from 8:00-10:00am CDT at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge! Then, join Sam and the Friends of Aransas National Wildlife Refuge for an eclipse viewing party at 10:00am CDT. Eclipse glasses will be provided!
Come hang out and help Manomet reach its Bird-a-Thon goal of observing 400 species in 24 hours! After you look for birds, put on your eclipse glasses and observe the “ring of fire” eclipse! Learn more about the annular solar eclipse here.
